GRAMMY® Award-winning, platinum selling folk/rock singer-songwriter Judy Collins returns to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre with special guest Livingston Taylor ! Collins has inspired audiences with sublime vocals, boldly vulnerable songwriting, personal life triumphs, and a firm commitment to social activism. Five decades & fifty albums later, the award-winning singer-songwriter is esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards and her own poetically poignant original compositions. Her stunning rendition of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now from her landmark 1967 album, Wildflowers, has been entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Judy Collins is as creatively vigorous as ever - writing, touring worldwide, and nurturing fresh talent. She is a modern day Renaissance woman who is also an accomplished painter, filmmaker, record label head, musical mentor, and an in-demand keynote speaker for mental health and suicide prevention. She continues to create music of hope and healing that lights up the world and speaks to the heart. Livingston Taylor picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, which began a 50-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting, and teaching. Livingston is the fourth child in a very musical family that includes Alex, James, Kate, and Hugh. From top 40 hits Carolina Day, Get out of Bed, I Will Be in Love with You and I’ll Come Running , to I Can Dream of You and Boatman , (the last two recorded by his brother James), Livingston’s creative output has continued unabated. Livingston is a natural performer, peppering his shows with personal stories, anecdotes and ineffable warmth that connect him to his fans.
